Job Description – Social Studies Teacher (Grades 7 to 10)Organization: The Radiant Institute
PositionSocial Studies Teacher (History, Geography, Civics & Economics)
- EligibilityBachelor's or Master's degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Prior teaching experience for Classes 7th to 10th (CBSE/ICSE) preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.
- Roles & ResponsibilitiesTeach Social Studies to students of Classes 7th to 10th (CBSE/ICSE).
- Prepare and deliver engaging, concept-based lessons.
- Conduct regular assessments, unit tests, and doubt-solving sessions.
- Prepare worksheets, assignments, and test papers as per the institute's format.
- Track student progress and provide feedback to parents and the academic team.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Complete the syllabus on time and ensure effective revision before examinations.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent meetings as required.
- Skills RequiredExcellent classroom management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office/Google Workspace).
