Job Title: South Indian Breakfast Chef

We are looking for an experienced South Indian Chef who can independently manage the restaurant’s complete breakfast operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare all South Indian dishes, including Idli, Medu Vada, Dosa, Masala Dosa, Uttapam, Sambar and different chutneys.
• Prepare breakfast items such as Poha, Upma, Shira and Tea.
• Prepare dosa and idli batter with consistent taste and quality.
• Manage the breakfast kitchen and coordinate with the kitchen team.
• Ensure fast preparation and timely service during breakfast hours.
• Maintain consistent taste, portion size, presentation and food quality.
• Plan daily preparation and control ingredient usage and wastage.
• Monitor stock and inform management about purchase requirements.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness and food-safety standards.
• Handle bulk and online-delivery orders efficiently.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a South Indian Chef.
• Strong knowledge of South Indian breakfast preparation.
• Must be able to manage the breakfast section independently.
• Should know batter fermentation, sambar and chutney preparation.
• Must be punctual, disciplined, hygienic and responsible.
• Ability to manage helpers and work effectively during busy hours.
