Inside Sales Executive Or Customer Support Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Inside Sales Executive with a Science or sales support background to support the sales process for laboratory chemicals, scientific products, and laboratory equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing quotations, following up with customers, providing customer support, maintaining accurate documentation, and preparing basic Excel reports. The role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotations based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate with the sales team for pricing, product specifications, and quotation approvals.
• Follow up with customers on submitted quotations to obtain feedback and convert opportunities into sales.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and WhatsApp in a professional and timely manner.
• Provide product information, order status, delivery updates, and general customer support.
• Maintain and update customer records, quotations, sales orders, and other sales-related documents.
• Ensure all sales documentation is accurate, complete, and properly maintained.
• Update daily quotation activities, customer information, and sales records using Microsoft Excel.
• Prepare and maintain reports such as quotation status, pending quotations, customer follow-up reports, and daily activity reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, Chemistry, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Sc., M.Sc., or any related Life Science discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in Inside Sales, Quotation Preparation, Sales Coordination, Customer Support, or a similar role.
• Knowledge of laboratory chemicals, scientific products, laboratory equipment, or pharmaceutical products will be an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Good organizational, documentation, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, sorting, filtering, and basic formulas), Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
