Job Summary: Major Kalshi Classes Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our media team. The ideal candidate should have experience in editing educational and promotional content, a strong understanding of visual storytelling, and basic camera handling skills for video shoots and content production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit educational lectures, promotional videos, YouTube videos, Shorts, Reels, and social media content.
- Add transitions, graphics, captions, sound effects, and motion elements to enhance video quality.
- Perform color correction, audio synchronization, and final video optimization.
- Coordinate with faculty, content creators, and the marketing team to produce engaging content.
- Assist in video shoots, camera setup, framing, and recording when required.
- Organize and manage video footage, project files, and digital assets.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing and content creation trends.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Video Editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (Mandatory).
- Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of video composition, storytelling, and content optimization.
- Experience editing long-form YouTube content and short-form videos.
- Knowledge of camera handling, video shooting, framing, and lighting techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Preferred QualificationsExperience in the Education or EdTech industry.
- Understanding of YouTube content and audience engagement strategies.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and thumbnail design will be an added advantage.
