Job Description: Sales Manager – Commodity Business (Wholesale)

Location: Prayagraj & Surrounding Areas

Industry: Commodity/FMCG (Wholesale Distribution)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced, results-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our Commodity wholesale business in Prayagraj and surrounding regions. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor and dealer networks, and strengthening market presence.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets

  • Manage and expand wholesale distributors, dealers, and retail network
  • Identify new business opportunities and increase market penetration
  • Ensure effective secondary sales and market coverage
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends
  • Build strong relationships with key clients and bulk buyers
  • Manage credit control and collections from distributors
  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales team/field executives
  • Ensure proper stock availability and supply chain coordination
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and MIS

Key Requirements: Minimum 3–5 years of experience, Commodity Business (Wholesale preferred)

  • Strong network of distributors and dealers in the Prayagraj region
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Good understanding of local market dynamics
  • Ability to handle team and field operations independently
  • Proficiency in basic MS Excel/reporting tools
  • Preferred Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred)
  • Experience in commodity products (rice, pulses, oil, atta, etc.) is a strong advantage
