Job Description
Job Title: Jewellery Accountant
Job Summary:A Jewellery Accountant manages financial records, inventory accounting, and transactions related to gold, diamonds, and other precious items, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Key Responsibilities:Maintain accounts, ledgers, and financial statements
- Handle billing, GST, and tax compliance
- Track jewellery inventory and stock valuation
- Monitor purchase and sales transactions
- Reconcile accounts and prepare reports
- Coordinate with auditors and management
- Required Skills:Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally)
- Understanding of GST and taxation
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic knowledge of jewellery valuation
