The role ensures adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, contract terms, and industry standards while identifying risks and recommending improvements.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and conduct internal audits of construction projects, sites, and head office operations
• Review project costs, budgets, BOQs, contracts, and variations for accuracy and compliance
• Verify procurement, subcontractor payments, material usage, and inventory controls
• Evaluate internal controls, risk management practices, and compliance with company policies
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and industry standards
• Perform site audits to assess physical progress versus reported progress
• Identify control weaknesses, inefficiencies, and potential fraud risks
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions
• Follow up on audit observations and monitor implementation of recommendations
• Coordinate with project managers, finance teams, and external auditors when required
• Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Engineering, or related field
• Professional certifications (CA Inter, CMA Inter, CIA, or equivalent) preferred
• 2–5 years of audit or finance experience, preferably in construction or real estate
• Strong understanding of construction accounting, project costing, and contracts
• Knowledge of internal audit standards and risk assessment
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/audit software
• Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
• Willingness to travel to project sites
