Job Description
🏢 Job Title: Costing Engineer
📍 Location: Chakan, Pune
💼 Experience: 2–5 Years
🎓 Qualification: Diploma / BE Mechanical
- Job Responsibilities:Prepare customer quotations and cost estimates based on RFQs.
- Read and understand 2D engineering drawings and fabrication drawings.
- Prepare BOM and estimate material, machining, fabrication, welding, laser/plasma cutting, bending, painting, and assembly costs.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Design, and Vendors.
- Prepare techno-commercial cost sheets and maintain costing records.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Required Skills:Cost Estimation
- RFQ Handling
- BOM Preparation
- 2D Drawing Reading
- Fabrication Drawing Knowledge
- CNC / VMC / Machining Process Knowledge
- MS Excel
- Preferred Candidate:2–5 years of experience in Fabrication, Heavy Fabrication, Sheet Metal, or Precision Machining Industry.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
