Electrician

Job Title: ITI Electrician

Department: Maintenance / Production

Location: On Site

Reporting To: Maintenance Supervisor / Plant Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled ITI Electrician to handle installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment in our manufacturing facility. The candidate should ensure smooth plant operations with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines.

- Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, panels, and control systems.

- Ensure proper functioning of electrical components like MCB, MCCB, relays, and contactors.

- Read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts.

- Maintain daily maintenance logs and reports.

- Follow safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.

- Support production team in minimizing machine downtime.

- Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and industrial wiring.

- Basic understanding of control panels and PLC systems (preferred).

- Ability to diagnose and resolve faults quickly.

- Knowledge of safety procedures and electrical standards.

Qualifications:

- ITI Electrician (NCVT/SCVT certified).

- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setup (preferred).

Working Conditions:

- Rotational shifts (if applicable).

- Ability to work under pressure during breakdowns.

Salary:

- As per industry standards.
