🎯 Job PurposeTo supervise housekeeping operations on the floor, ensure all rooms and public areas meet quality standards, and manage room attendants efficiently to deliver a clean, comfortable, and guest-ready environment.

• 🛠️ Key Responsibilities🏨
• Floor Supervision & Room QualityAllocate rooms to housekeeping staff at the start of shift
• Inspect cleaned rooms (check-out & occupied) as per SOP
• Ensure rooms meet cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards
• Approve rooms as “Ready” for front office release
• 👥 Team Management
• Supervise Room Boys / Associates on the floor
• Train new staff on cleaning procedures and standards
• Monitor productivity (rooms per shift, time taken)
• Manage shift attendance, duty roster, and discipline
• 🧴 Operations & Inventory ControlEnsure adequate stock of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies
• Maintain floor pantry and housekeeping stores
• Control usage and minimize wastage
• 🔔 Guest Handling & Service RecoveryHandle guest complaints related to housekeeping
• Ensure quick resolution and service recovery
• Coordinate with Front Office for guest preferences & VIP rooms
• 🚨 Maintenance Coordination
• Identify and report maintenance issues (AC, plumbing, electrical)
• Follow up with engineering team for timely resolution
• 🧾 Reporting & DocumentationMaintain daily reports: room status, discrepancies, lost & found
• Coordinate room status updates with Front Office
• Conduct periodic audits and deep cleaning schedules
