Production / Manufacturing Head

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and responsible Production Engineer / Shop Floor Coordinator to manage daily shop floor operations, production planning, and coordination between various departments. The candidate should ensure smooth production flow, timely material availability, effective manpower utilization, and on-time project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily and weekly production plans.
• Coordinate with the Design, Purchase, Store, and Quality departments for smooth production.
• Monitor daily production progress and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Allocate and manage shop floor manpower efficiently.
• Ensure availability of materials befMaintain production records and prepare daily production reports.ore production starts.
• Follow up with the purchase department for pending materials.
• Coordinate with the design team regarding drawings, revisions, and BOMs.Coordinate dispatch activities to meet customer delivery schedules.
• Maintain production records and prepare daily production reports.
• Monitor machine utilization and improve productivity.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained during manufacturing.
• Implement and monitor 5S and safety practices on the shop floor.
• Resolve day-to-day production issues and report major concerns to management.
• Control production delays and minimize downtime.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in fabrication, conveyor manufacturing, industrial automation, or SPM manufacturing.
• Good understanding of fabrication drawings and production processes.
• Knowledge of production planning, manpower manaegment
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems (preferred).ent, and material flow.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
