Job Description
Role Overview
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations of Hotel Solitaire, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, compliance with statutory requirements, and timely reporting. The role supports smooth hotel operations by maintaining transparency and financial discipline across departments.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Accounting OperationsMaintain and update daily cash book, expense statements, and general ledger.
- Verify and post all revenue entries from Front Office, F&B, Banquets, and Online Travel Agencies (OTAs).
- Reconcile cash, card, UPI, and cheque collections with the front office team.
2. Billing & ReceivablesGenerate invoices for corporate and long-stay guests as per contracts.
- Track and follow up on payments for BTC (Bill-to-Company) accounts.
- Reconcile OTA commissions, cancellations, and payouts.
3. Payables & Vendor ManagementVerify purchase bills for rooms, kitchen, housekeeping, engineering, and admin supplies.
- Maintain vendor ledgers and ensure timely payments.
- Coordinate with procurement team for rate checks and GRN validation.
4. Payroll & Statutory ComplianceHandle monthly payroll, attendance reconciliation, and overtime calculations.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, and GST.
- Prepare and maintain required statutory registers.
5. Financial ReportingPrepare monthly P&L, balance sheet summary, and variance analysis.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control measures.
- Highlight irregularities or unusual expenses to management.
6. Audit SupportCoordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Maintain documentation for financial audits and statutory inspections.
- Skills & Qualifications:
- RequiredBachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience (hospitality experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Tally / hotel accounting software (e.g., IDS, eZee, FortuneNext).
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, payroll, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables).
- PreferredExperience in hotel finance operations.
- Ability to manage high-volume transactions.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
