Job Description – Account Executive

Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting software, GST and TDS compliance, invoice management, and bank reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

·        Record and maintain Purchase Entries accurately in the accounting system.

·        Prepare and generate Purchase and Sales Invoices.

·        Handle Bank Entries, Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS), and monitor daily banking transactions.

·        Prepare and assist in GST Return Filing and ensure timely compliance.

·        Prepare and assist in TDS Calculation and Filing.

·        Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation.

·        Verify purchase bills, vendor invoices, and expense vouchers.

·        Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for invoice and payment reconciliation.

·        Maintain statutory records and support internal/external audits.

·        Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of MIS reports.

·        Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory accounting requirements.

Required Skills

·        Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.

·        Experience with accounting software such as Tally Prime, Busy, or ERP systems.

·        Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

·        Understanding of banking transactions and reconciliations.

·        Good documentation and record-keeping skills.

·        Strong analytical and numerical aptitude.

·        Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

·        Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualification

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent.

·        Additional certification in Accounting, GST, or Tally will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

·        Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.

·        Experience in a manufacturing or trading organization will be preferred.

·        Familiarity with statutory compliance and taxation.

·        Good communication and interpersonal skills.
