Accounts Manager

Viman Nagar, Pune  |  Office-based  |  4-8 years

Own accurate, timely and controlled

accounting for a fast-moving distribution business, with strong command over

reconciliations, compliance, inventory-linked accounting and management

reporting.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• Manage day-to-day accounting,

receivables, payables, bank entries and ledger scrutiny.

• Complete bank, customer, vendor,

GST and inventory-related reconciliations with clear closure notes.

• Own GST, TDS and other routine

statutory compliance in coordination with consultants and auditors.

• Drive monthly closing,

provisions, ageing reports, cash-flow visibility and management MIS.

• Review purchase costs, landed

costs, credit notes, stock adjustments and accounting impact of operational

transactions.

• Improve controls, documentation

and ERP discipline across sales, purchase, warehouse and finance workflows.

SUCCESS MEASURES

• Accurate monthly close completed

on agreed timelines.

• Zero avoidable statutory delays,

interest or penalties.

• Reconciliation completeness and

ageing reduction.

• Quality and usefulness of MIS and

cash-flow reporting.

• Audit readiness and reduction in

recurring control issues.

YOU MAY FIT IF

• B.Com / M.Com; CA Inter or

equivalent exposure is an advantage, not mandatory.

• Strong working knowledge of GST,

TDS, accounting controls and Excel.

• Experience with Odoo, Tally or

another ERP is preferred.

• Detail-oriented without losing

sight of commercial reality and deadlines.

• Able to communicate clearly with

sales, operations, vendors, customers and auditors.
