AD & Endpoint Migration Administrator -Subcontractor
Area(s) of responsibility
The Active Directory & Endpoint Migration Administrator is responsible for planning, executing, and validating Active Directory user, group, and computer migrations, Group Policy migration to Microsoft Intune, and domain‑joined workstation migrations as part of large‑scale enterprise modernization programs.
This role works closely with Identity, Endpoint, M365, and Security teams to ensure identity continuity, device compliance, and seamless end‑user experience during migrations.

Technical Skills
- Active Directory (Domains, Trusts, FSMO, Sites & Services)
- User, Group, Computer & SIDHistory migration
- Group Policy design and troubleshooting
- Microsoft Intune (MDM, compliance, configuration profiles)
- GPO → Intune CSP mapping
- Windows 10/11 endpoint management
- DNS, DHCP, NTFS permissions
- PowerShell scripting (intermediate–advanced)
Tools & Platforms
- Active Directory Users & Computers (ADUC)
- Group Policy Management Console (GPMC)
- Microsoft Intune & Entra ID
- Migration tools (Quest AD Migration / ODM preferred)
- Windows Autopilot (nice to have)
Experience & Qualifications
- 8–15 years of experience in Active Directory and endpoint administration
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise AD/domain consolidation or carve‑out projects
- Proven experience in GPO to Intune migrations
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and production cutover experience
- Microsoft certifications (preferred):
- Azure Administrator
- Endpoint Administrator (Intune)
- Windows Server / AD certifications
