Role Summary
The Network Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing enterprise scale network architectures across data center, campus, WAN, and cloud environments. This role provides technical leadership for modernization, transformation, and migration initiatives, ensuring scalable, secure, and resilient network foundations aligned with business strategy. The architect will work closely with customers, delivery teams, and stakeholders across global engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
• Define end to end Enterprise and Data Center Network Architecture aligned to business and technology roadmaps
• Design modern data center fabrics using Cisco ACI (Multi Site / Multi Pod) and VXLAN Spine Leaf architectures
• Create and own High Level Design (HLD), Low Level Design (LLD), Network Migration Plans (NMP), Methods of Procedure (MOP), and Runbooks
• Lead architectural decisions for network modernization, refresh, and consolidation programs
Technology Leadership
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for:
Cisco Nexus 9000, ACI, DCNM
SD WAN (Cisco Viptela)
LAN/WAN and Data Center routing & switching
Architect hybrid connectivity solutions integrating on prem data centers with Microsoft Azure (VNETs, ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN)
Define standards and design templates for repeatable, scalable deployments
Transformation & Migration
• Lead legacy to modern network migration strategies, including brownfield and greenfield deployments
• Assess existing environments and define future state architectures
• Support large scale enterprise and data center transformation programs across geographies
