We are looking for an experienced and service-driven Captain to lead floor operations in our vegetarian dining restaurant. The ideal candidate should have strong guest-handling skills, team leadership ability, and a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily restaurant floor operations and service team
Ensure smooth guest seating, order taking, and service flow
Maintain high standards of hospitality, grooming, and service etiquette
Train and guide stewards/service staff on SOPs and service standards
Handle guest queries, special requests, and feedback professionally
Coordinate with kitchen and bar/service teams for seamless operations
Ensure table setup, mise en place, and restaurant ambience standards are maintained
Upsell menu items and promote signature dishes/beverages
Monitor billing accuracy and smooth closure of guest checks
Support management in inventory, shift planning, and team scheduling
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills
Knowledge of fine dining service standards
Basic POS and billing system knowledge
Ability to work in fast-paced service environments
Passion for vegetarian cuisine and guest experience
