Job Responsibilities:

As Commi1, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Food preparation: food preparation and presentation as per the restaurant’s concept and menu, Also ensure that food is prepared and served to customers at the highest quality
• Daily planning - in coordination with the Head Chef and other colleagues to manage the daily job smoothly. Step into role of the Head Chef in his absence
• Health and safety - ensure compliance with hygiene and health and safety regulations. Also maintain food handling and sanitation standards. Maintains high standards of safety , hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen  
• Daily procedures: Carries out daily and weekly procedures, such as temperature checks, food labeling, and storage. Ensuring all ingredients are fresh and meet quality standards 
• Wastages and managing costs - Calculating and managing optimal costs and liaising with Head Chef to ensure to meet the waste management targets
• Kitchen maintenance: Ensures that kitchen equipment is in working order, and cleans and restocks it. 
• Personal hygiene: Keeps high standards of personal hygiene.
• And other relevant responsibilities delegated by the management
