Cost & Estimation Engineer Cum Tendring Engineer

Estimation & Costing-

 Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and project budgets

 Analyze drawings, specifications, and project scope to determine material, labor, and resource requirements

 Define estimation scope, timelines, assumptions, and constraints

 Develop cost element structures and costing models based on project requirements

 Maintain estimation turnaround time within 24–48 hours .

Tendering & Contract Management

 Handle end-to-end tendering process including preparation, submission, and follow-ups.

 Review and manage contracts, vendor agreements, and subcontractor documentation.

 Work on platforms like GeM and CPP for registrations, submissions, and operations Project Planning & Monitoring.

 Track project progress using Microsoft Project (alignment with management required)

 Coordinate with project, procurement, and execution teams for cost control

 Monitor project costs and recommend cost-saving measures

 Assist in developing manufacturing/process workflows and work instructions

Reporting & Documentation

 Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly project reports

 Develop case studies (e.g., Aditya Birla BOQ)

 Maintain all estimation records, assumptions, and supporting data.

Provide financial analysis, cost trends, and performance reports

Coordination & Communication-

 Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure timely project execution

 Present cost estimates to clients for review, approval, and finalization

 Handle project-related queries and documentation efficiently

Primary Responsibilities

 Support proposal preparation and contract negotiations

 Establish quote priorities based on project opportunities

 Develop and implement cost recording and reporting systems

 Perform data analysis, forecasting, and risk assessment

 Ensure adherence to estimation standards, procedures, and quality requirements

Education & Experience

 Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or related field)

 Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cost estimation, preferably in construction/precast/infra industry

 Experience in tendering, BOQ preparation, and project costing

 Knowledge of ERP systems (preferred) and MS Excel (intermediate to advanced)

Technical Skills-

 Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office tools

 Working knowledge of ERP systems

 Familiarity with Microsoft Project for scheduling

 Understanding of engineering drawings and estimation tools

 Knowledge of ISO standards (preferred)
