Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational requirements and translating them into functional software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the applications align with business goals, while continuously refining and enhancing the software to improve efficiency and user experience. Attention to detail and adaptability are key as the engineer navigates through different phases of application development and deployment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Maintain and update existing applications to ensure optimal performance and alignment with evolving business needs.
- Document technical specifications and application configurations to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD).
- Experience with configuring and customizing ServiceNow HRSD modules to meet organizational requirements.
- Strong understanding of application design principles and software development lifecycle.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within ServiceNow HRSD applications effectively.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect ServiceNow HRSD with other enterprise systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
