Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications tailored to meet specific business needs. This role requires taking ownership of projects by coordinating efforts across teams and serving as the main liaison for stakeholders. The position demands proactive problem-solving and continuous engagement with various phases of the software lifecycle to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with organizational goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software solutions.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth within the project environment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing applications to enhance functionality and user experience.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and report development within business intelligence platforms.
- Experience in designing and implementing dashboards and visual analytics to support decision-making.
- Ability to integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Familiarity with query languages and data transformation techniques to optimize performance.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to business intelligence solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
