Summary:
As a Data Architect, a typical day involves defining the data requirements and designing the overall data structure for applications. This role includes modeling how data will be stored and integrated within the system, ensuring that the architecture supports efficient data flow and accessibility. The position requires thoughtful planning and collaboration to create scalable and robust data frameworks that align with application needs and business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data architecture aligns with organizational goals.
- Continuously evaluate and improve data models and integration strategies to enhance system performance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in understanding data architecture principles.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
- Experience in designing and implementing data integration workflows and pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices.
- Ability to work with various data storage technologies and understand their impact on data architecture.
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality management principles.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and optimizing data processing tasks to ensure efficiency.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
