Data Visualization Senior Consultant
Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Visualization Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in cloud-based data engineering and analytics. This role blends data engineering + BI visualization, with a strong focus on building scalable data pipelines and transforming them into meaningful business insights using Tableau.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Snowflake, AWS Glue, S3, APIs, and PL/SQL, with a strong ability to translate complex datasets into executive-ready dashboards and storytelling visualizations.
Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Integration
- Design and build data pipelines using AWS Glue and Snowflake for structured and semi-structured datasets
- Develop ingestion frameworks using:
- APIs (REST-based ingestion)
- Batch and near real-time processing
- Manage and optimize data lakes on AWS S3
- Implement transformation logic using SQL / PL-SQL
Data Modelling & Preparation
- Design semantic layers and data models for BI consumption
- Optimize datasets for high-performance analytics in Tableau
- Build aggregated, curated datasets aligned with business KPIs
- Ensure schema evolution and data standardization
Visualization & BI Development (Core Responsibility)
- Design and build interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau
- Create executive-level visual storytelling (KPIs, trends, drill-downs)
- Define and implement:
- Data visualization best practices
- Dashboard performance optimization
- Reusable reporting templates
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with:
- Business stakeholders
- Data analysts
- Data engineering teams
- Translate business requirements into data models and dashboards
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data
