The Position

Delivery/Product Manager- ERP(SAP) AMS

Delivery/ Product Manager - ERP Application Management Services (AMS). Acts as the primary liaison between Global Procurement/VMO and the ERP Organization, ensuring our third-party support services are high-performing, cost-effective, and perfectly aligned with our business goals. Leads together with VMO/Procurement the design, negotiation, and continuous optimization of AMS contracts to ensure maximum value and service quality. Defines and monitors SLAs, KPIs, and service delivery standards, ensuring our partners meet the needs of the ERP organization. Drives cost-efficiency initiatives by identifying areas for service automation, consolidation, or right-sizing of support models. Ensures that AMS partner roadmaps evolve in alignment with our ERP transformation.

The Opportunity

As a Delivery Management Professional, you will navigate organizational complexity to define and communicate comprehensive solution visions and roadmaps for strategically critical initiatives. In this role, you will:

• Lead Strategic Scope: Provide expert guidance and strategic direction on defining and managing scope for complex, high-impact ERP initiatives.

• Drive Process Excellence: Develop and champion scope management strategies and best practices to enhance delivery efficiency across the organization.

• Resolve Complex Problems: Lead the analysis of strategic delivery problems across boundaries, eliciting complex needs and influencing key decisions.

• Engage Stakeholders: Analyze complex stakeholder networks and execute engagement plans to build strong collaborative relationships across organizational boundaries.

• Navigate Ambiguity: Manage highly complex delivery programs involving multiple dependencies, risks, and ambiguous requirements.

• Influence Strategy: Evaluate strategic solution options and proactively propose improvements to help implement long-term business objectives.

• Shape Delivery Strategies: Use your in-depth business knowledge and market trends to shape delivery strategies that achieve strategic business objectives.

• Foster Innovation: Promote a culture of innovation and lead the implementation of Agile frameworks and delivery best practices.

Who you are

We are looking for a professional who combines technical SAP expertise with strategic leadership. You should meet the following criteria:

• Experienced Leader: You possess extensive experience in a Delivery Management archetype (e.g., Service Delivery Manager, Program Manager, or Agile Coach) managing large-scale programs.

• SAP & AMS Expert: You have a very good understanding of SAP system architecture and hands-on experience with SAP application management support (AMS) service delivery.

• Regulatory Savvy: You have a deep understanding of ERP-specific compliance requirements, including Computerized System Validation (CSV), ICFR, and Data Protection/Privacy.

• FinOps Specialist: You bring a proven track record in controlling and reducing AMS spend with a background in IT Asset Management or Procurement.

• Agile Champion: You have demonstrated success embedding Agile frameworks and leading organizational change within a global matrix environment.

• Analytical Strategist: You possess an advanced ability to analyze complex, cross-boundary delivery problems and propose data-driven solutions.

• Master Communicator: You exhibit exceptional communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive consensus and act as a mentor to others.

Qualifications:

• Very good understanding of SAP system architecture, including core modules and how they integrate

• IT Asset Management (ITAM), or Procurement.

• Hands-on experience with SAP application management support (AMS) service delivery

• Strong background in IT Service Management / ITIL

• Very good understanding of ERP specific compliance requirements, incl. Computerized System Validation (CSV), ICFR, Data Protection/Privacy

• Proven FinOps Track Record: Experience controlling & reducing AMS spend
