Dental Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, root canals)
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Set up treatment rooms before procedures and clean them afterward
• Ensure patients are comfortable and explain procedures when necessary
• Handle suction and other chairside support during treatments
• Maintain proper infection control and hygiene standards
• Take and develop dental X-rays (if trained/certified)
• Manage patient records and update treatment details
• Assist in scheduling appointments and basic front desk duties when required
• Monitor inventory and restock dental supplies
• Required Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (Dental assisting certification preferred)
• Basic knowledge of dental procedures and instruments
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work calmly under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and hygiene protocols
• Team-oriented with a patient-friendly attitude
• Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience in a dental clinic
