We are seeking a dedicated Dispatch Manager to oversee freight operations, route optimization, and vendor relationships for our steel trading and construction materials supply chain. This role is critical for ensuring timely deliveries across India, requiring high availability and proactive vendor development. *Key Responsibilities*

Maintain comprehensive data records for all freights, routes, and transporting companies using Excel or similar tools.

Develop and onboard new vendors, including those with trucks and trailers, through networking, negotiations, and site visits.

Coordinate daily dispatch schedules, track shipments, and resolve delivery issues in real-time.

Ensure phone availability from morning to night, including after office hours—mandatory response to all calls for seamless operations.

Monitor logistics costs, optimize routes for efficiency, and report on vendor performance monthly.

Collaborate with sales, procurement, and accounting teams to align dispatches with client orders and payment terms.

*Requirements*

0-5 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or transport management (steel/construction industry preferred).

Strong knowledge of freight routing, trucking vendors, and supply chain tools like Excel and Tally Prime.

Excellent communication skills for vendor negotiations and client updates via phone/WhatsApp.

High reliability and flexibility—willingness to be on-call beyond standard hours (9 AM - 7 PM).
