Drilling Machine Operator

The candidate should have knowledge of engineering drawings, bore gauge setting, and machining processes.

Key Responsibilities:-

 Operate drilling machines for machining activities as per drawings. 

 Perform drilling, tapping, reaming, and related machining operations. 

 Read and understand engineering drawings and dimensions. 

 Set and use Bore Gauge for inspection and measurement. 

 Handle milling machine operations as required. 

 Ensure components are machined as per quality standards and tolerances. 

 Check dimensions using measuring instruments. 

 Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety procedures. 

 Coordinate with supervisors and quality departments during production activities. 

 Ensure timely completion of assigned work. 

Required Skills:-

 Knowledge of drawing reading. 

 Experience in drilling and tapping operations. 

 Basic knowledge of milling machine operations. 

 Knowledge of Bore Gauge setting and usage. 

 Understanding of machining tolerances and measurements.

  Ability to use measuring instruments like: Vernier Caliper, Bore Gauge ,Micrometer ,Measuring Tape.

 Preferred Candidate Profile:-

 ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 

 1–5 years of experience in drilling/machining operations. 

 Experience in Automation/SPM industry will be preferred.
