Role Description

• Our Home Loan Savings teams at Deutsche Bank - Private Bank (TDI) develop and maintain applications for home loan savings business of Private Customers (BHW). Changes are implemented on time to market challenges as well as on development of the application landscape by using Google Cloud technology. In addition to the SAP-based home loan savings and mortgage lending core systems the application portfolio also includes the business partner data systems, the connection to payment transactions, as well as the interface to the frontends and the data preparation and delivery for the banks dispositive systems.
• We are acting as a pilot for the migration to the Google Cloud with our applications and are preparing for the transition to an agile collaboration model. We are now building a team in India to work closely with the existing team in Germany, leveraging virtual collaboration techniques and the diversity of our team to achieve our goals of continuous delivery, process improvement, and internalization of technical expertise.
• As an engineer UC4 you are responsible for the design and implementation of batch scheduling in the job scheduling system UC4. In both agile and waterfall processes, you work closely together with application development, test operation and IT operation and thus contribute to the success of the growing domain Home Loan Savings.

Your key responsibilities

• Together with the solution architects and application developers you develop the architecture of our job network and are responsible for job design in your area
• You are responsible for the creation and maintenance of complex network plans of high quality and guide juniors and external employees
• You support the team of project managers, solution architects and business analysts at all stages of the software lifecycle (feasibility studies, cost estimates, technical design, development, testing and documentation)
• You support the operation of our existing UC4 landscape through 3rd Level Support
• You accompany the digital transformation and application deployment in the Google Cloud platform
• You stay up-to-date (e.g. Google Cloud Technology), supported by internal and external training, are constantly evolving and share your knowledge with your colleagues

Your skills and experience

• Minimum 5 years experience in a in a similar role.
• Expertise and long-term experience in job development with UC4 and job-related scripting languages
• Experience in job control of SAP, Cobol and Java-based application landscapes
• Experience in Tools like Service Now, Confluence, Jira, etc.
• Knowledge in ITIL processes like Incident handling, Change handling, Problem handling etc.
• Comprehensive knowledge of patterns and best practices in the design of job schedules
• You are enjoying the joint development of solutions in an interdisciplinary team
• Pro-active team player with very good communication and excellent English language skills for interacting with stakeholders, German language skills are a big plus.
