Job Title:  Senior Manager – Senior Data Solution Architect

 

 

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Solution Architect to lead the architecture, program delivery, and solutioning of complex enterprise AI & Data use cases on modern analytics platforms.

This role is designed for a hands-on, deeply technical leader who can operate across presales, solution design, program management, and delivery governance, and who excels at translating business problems into scalable, production-grade AI & Data architectures.

The role requires a strong blend of architecture depth, AI expertise, structured program execution, and executive-level communication, working across senior stakeholders in complex transformation programs.

What You’ll Do

1. Solution Complex AI & Data Problems for Enterprise Clients

• Engage with senior business, data, and technology stakeholders to understand complex AI & Data requirements
• Lead solution discovery, architecture definition, and structured program planning
• Translate business objectives into scalable AI & Data architectures and execution roadmaps
• Own outcomes from problem definition through architecture sign-off and program mobilization

2. Architect End-to-End Enterprise Data Platforms

• Design enterprise-scale architectures using:
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure),Databricks), Data Governance frameworks
• Define enterprise data platform patterns (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers, semantic layer, data modeling)
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, cost, security, and compliance requirements
• Align architecture with enterprise data governance and regulatory standards

3. Enable AI, Advanced Analytics & GenAI Use Cases

• Architect AI-enabled platforms leveraging:
• Azure AI / AWS AI Services / GenAI capabilities
• Design solutions supporting:
• Intelligent insights and advanced analytics
• AI-augmented BI and decision intelligence
• Responsible, secure, and scalable GenAI adoption
• Drive AI-first architecture thinking, balancing trade-offs across cost, latency, scalability, and risk

4. Program Management & Delivery Leadership

• Lead end-to-end program structuring for AI & Data initiatives, including:
• Work breakdown, milestones, and execution planning
• Risk identification, dependency management, and mitigation strategies
• Drive cross-functional coordination across architecture, engineering, business, and governance teams
• Establish delivery governance frameworks, ensuring alignment to architecture and timelines
• Track program progress, value realization, and executive reporting metrics
• Ensure seamless transition from solution design → program execution → value realization

5. Presales, Solution Shaping & Client Advisory

• Lead presales and solution shaping activities, including:
• Discovery workshops and stakeholder alignment
• End-to-end solution design and storytelling
• RFP responses, estimations, and proposal development
• Partner with leadership to define differentiated AI & Data solutions
• Act as a trusted advisor, articulating value, architecture, and execution approach to clients

6. Guide Delivery & Architecture Governance

• Work closely with engineering teams to:
• Validate architecture feasibility
• Guide implementation decisions and integration patterns
• Ensure architecture consistency across build, deployment, and production
• Support operational readiness, observability, and platform sustainability

7. Define Reusable Architecture Assets & Best Practices

• Develop reference architectures, solution blueprints, and reusable assets
• Codify best practices for:
• AI-ready data platform 
• Modern Data Platforms 
• Scalable AI and data architectures
• Contribute to organizational IP and standards

Core Requirements

Experience

• 15+ years in data platforms, AI/analytics architecture, or cloud solutions
• Proven experience in enterprise-scale AI & Data platform architecture
• Strong exposure to program management / large transformation delivery
• Hands-on experience in presales and solution shaping (mandatory)
• Experience in client-facing consulting environments

Skills (Enhanced Focus Areas)

Architecture & AI Expertise

• Deep expertise in cloud data platforms, AI/ML, and GenAI ecosystems
• Strong understanding of data governance, data modeling, and analytics architecture
• Ability to design AI-first data platforms and intelligent systems

Program Management

• Strong capability in program structuring, planning, and execution tracking
• Experience managing large, multi-stakeholder transformation programs
• Ability to balance architecture integrity with delivery timelines and risks

Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value narratives
• Proven capability to influence CXOs, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams
• Strong facilitation and negotiation skills

Added Advantage

• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and multi-platform data ecosystems
• Exposure to hybrid and multi-cloud architectures
• Experience in AI-led data modernization or transformation programs

What This Role Is NOT

• Not a pure hands-on development role
• Not a standalone program manager role (requires deep architecture ownership)
• Not limited to BI/reporting or tool configuration
• Primary ownership combines architecture + AI strategy + program leadership
