Field Service Engineer

What You Will Do

Your main job is to visit customer sites and make sure our electric cooking vessels are installed correctly and working well. Day-to-day work includes:

•       Site Recce: Visit the customer's kitchen before installation. Check power supply (3-phase), space, and safety requirements. Report findings back to office.

•       Installation: Set up eqOorja electric cooking vessels at customer sites. Connect electrical panels, test the unit, and hand over to the customer.

•       Field Service & Repairs: Visit customer sites for complaints or breakdowns. Diagnose the problem (electrical, mechanical, or control panel), carry out repairs, and close the service ticket.

•       Preventive Maintenance: Do scheduled maintenance visits — clean air filters, check electrical connections, tighten fittings, and ensure the machine is running at full capacity.

•       Customer Handholding: Explain machine operation to kitchen staff after installation. Answer basic operational questions.

•       Reporting: Fill in service reports after every visit. Share photos and notes with the office team on WhatsApp / service app.

•       Spare Parts: Carry basic spare parts on your bike. Inform office in advance when stock is running low.

Skills & Knowledge

•       Good knowledge of electrical wiring, 3-phase power supply, and basic control panels

•       Able to read simple wiring diagrams

•       Hands-on with basic tools: multimeter, screwdrivers, crimping tools

•       Basic knowledge of electrical safety at industrial / commercial sites

•       Comfortable working in commercial kitchens and large canteens

Other Requirements

•       Must have own bike and valid driving licence (two-wheeler)

•       Must be ready to travel within Pune, PCMC, and nearby areas as required

•       Good communication in Marathi and Hindi (English basics is a plus)

•       Honest, punctual, and customer-friendly attitude

•       Immediate joiner preferred
