Job Description

  • Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot heavy forging equipment (presses, hammers, furnaces) to minimize downtime.
  • Fitting & Assembly: Assemble, align, and install new machinery and replace worn parts such as dies, bearings, and hydraulic components.
  • Precision Machining: Use hand tools, grinders, and power tools to shape or finish forged components and die parts to exact tolerances.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications to guide fabrication and assembly.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished forged parts for alignment, size, and surface defects.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures, in a high-temperature, heavy-industrial environment.
