Job Description

Assist fitters and technicians in machine assembly.

Load, unload, and move machine parts and raw materials.

Clean and prepare components before assembly or welding.

Support drilling, tapping, grinding, and cutting operations.

Arrange and organize tools, fasteners, and materials at the workstation.

Help in packing, lifting, and shifting heavy machine components safely.

Maintain cleanliness of the shop floor and work area.

Assist during machine installation, testing, and dispatch.

Follow instructions from supervisors and senior technicians.

Use hand tools and power tools safely.

Wear PPE and follow all safety procedures.

Report damaged tools, equipment, or unsafe conditions immediately.
