Job Title: Housekeeping Associate

​Job Summary

​We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Hotel Mukesh Residency. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort in our guest rooms and public areas. You will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a pleasant, welcoming, and memorable stay.

​Key Responsibilities

​Room Cleaning: Perform daily cleaning and servicing of guest rooms according to hotel standards. This includes changing linens, making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms.

​Deep Cleaning: Participate in scheduled deep-cleaning projects, including carpet shampooing, window washing, and upholstery care.

​Public Area Maintenance: Ensure that hotel lobbies, hallways, elevators, and other public facilities are kept spotless and welcoming at all times.

​Inventory Management: Replenish guest supplies (toiletries, towels, stationery, tea/coffee kits) and monitor housekeeping cart inventory.

​Quality Assurance: Report any maintenance issues (e.g., broken bulbs, leaky faucets, malfunctioning equipment) to the housekeeping supervisor or maintenance team immediately.

​Lost & Found: Follow strict procedures for handling lost and found items, ensuring guest property is logged and kept secure.

​Guest Service: Demonstrate a polite and professional attitude when interacting with guests, responding to their requests promptly and efficiently.

​Qualifications & Skills

​Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles (preferably in the hospitality industry) is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate.

​Attention to Detail: A keen eye for cleanliness and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

​Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights (e.g., cleaning supplies, vacuum cleaners), and perform repetitive physical tasks.

​Reliability: Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet room turnover targets.

​Communication: Basic proficiency in English/Hindi/Marathi to understand guest requests and interact with team members.
