Infor M3 Consultant

Area(s) of responsibility

Work on the projects to implement industry standard processes with the aim of reducing costs, increasing customer service and creating frameworks for enhanced collaboration and business efficiency using Infor M3 ERP and its surrounding suite of components.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Understand customer-specific requirements and M3 standard features in the Manufacturing Module
• Provide in-depth gap analysis documents especially in legal, regulation and reporting requirements (overall and Specific to localization if any)
• Business process knowledge in Manufacturing, Production Planning, Quality Management and Product & Master Data Management
• Providing Infor M3 functional specifications based on business requirements
• Work with the project manager, tech lead, solution architect and technical designers to find the best possible solutions
• Focus on process improvement, harmonization and minimizing customizations
• Build prototype solutions for user validation
• Performing unit test prior to the solution delivery
• Provide process and solution testing
• Assist Business users in pilot testing scenarios and testing activities
• Provide quality assurance in user testing results
• Provide user education and knowledge transfer
• Executing project activities in accordance with the project plan, by acceptable quality standards and by the specific budget
• Ensuring professional and appropriate communication with customers and project team members, and status reporting practices are followed for all project activities
• Attending Project Meetings and user meetings

Key Skill Set:

• Candidate should have 7-10 years’ experience in Infor M3 business applications for related module/s
• Experience playing a key role in full life cycle on transformation project
• Understanding of integrations and Infor Add-On tool will be added advantage
• Experience to map On-Premises business process to SaaS solutioning
• Ability to provide support on implemented solution
• Strong functional experience in MUC process configuration

Secondary Requirements:

• College degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Excellent organization/time management skills
• Ability to support/work in a multi-user/multi-client environment on different platforms
• Knowledge of tools, techniques and good practices for protecting the integrity of corporate data and processing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short timelines / deadlines in non-standard hours, weekends/holidays
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize support/maintenance for multiple customers in different environments
• Ability to work cohesively in a team environment and act as a knowledge expert
• The candidate must ensure compliance with data protection legislation under the DPA, EU GDPR, any other applicable data protection legislation
• Must have the ability to multi-task and organize effectively to meet customer service level expectations
• Ability to consult with external customers and build effective relationships
• Adept and proactive at problem solving and conflict resolution
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and develop solutions to problems independently and through facilitated team discussions
• Ability to actively participate in team and client meetings
• Motivated and shows initiative
• Earlier domain / industry experience other than M3.
