Join us as a Junior Engineer based in Pune to execute related to work up to CNC 5-Axis  machine to carry out different activities such as turning, milling, drilling, machining, taping, threading & inspection of the component. Should deliver the rated, planned, and targeted output as per the period program planned for the work centers allotted.

The position / About the Job:

In this job the Junior Engineer would be responsible for:

Key Tasks and responsibilities:

• Reading of manufacturing drawing.
• Use of tools such as turning tools, milling, boring, riming, drilling, tapping, threading, according setting data file.
• Ability to use inspection instruments such as vernier calipper, micro meter, dial bore gauge, inside & outside unimeter & special dial ring gauges.
• Loading & unloading of jaws/tooling/ fixtures.
• Loading & unloading of component.                                                                                                                                                        
• Entering work offset & tooling data in CNC 5-Axis machine.             
• Calling programme through DNC.                                                 
• Setting of component on CNC 5-Axis machine according to component file.
• Must have knowledge of CNC 5-Axis machine control panel.                    
• Must know function of each & every hard & soft key on the control panel.                                                                                                                   Must read the operating, service and repair manual of CNC 5-Axis machine and try to solve minor problems related to it.
• Must read the operation flow card/process sheet/component drawing/component file before starting actual production.                                              
• Should follow the cycle time & setup time given in the operation flow card/process sheet.                                                                        Closing Manufacturing Order (MO) within given time.                                   
• Delivery on time target should be maintained above 95%.
• Movement of finished goods, raw material, fixtures, tools and equipment, banners.
• He should personally pick up raw material from HSS Store Dept. to OSR workstation if required and then to CNC 5-Axis machine.                                                                             
• He must move finished goods from CNC 5-Axis machine to deburring and deburring to CMM Machine and then to final inspection.
• He must do the visual inspection of raw material before loading on machine.
• He must read and confirm CMM inspection report with the required specification. If any deviation is found, it must be corrected and must confirm the dimensions according to specifications. Probe calibration on weekly basis.
• CNC 5-Axis machine cleaning, oil level checking, oiling, basic troubleshooting, setting and keeping it at normal condition.                                                         
• Check proper lubrication of CNC 5-Axis machine.                                       
• Reporting the problem which is beyond the scope of your understanding related CNC 5-Axis machine to the maintenance department.
• Recording production, writing Job Cards, Filling ISO records, Recording 5S, Kaizen, Near misses, accident report.                                                             
• Write all the information of the happening of the completed shift as output quantity, hours, minor or major maintenance or quality issues in the standard job card as well as in the CNC 5-Axis machine log book and report it to team leader/team manager/unit manager.
• Should inform Team Manager about the things affecting production output.                 
• Job cards should be filled daily and to reported to Team Manager.                                
• Must report cause of  rejection & tool damages/rejection /rework.    Problems related to CNC 5-Axis machine ,tooling & other problems should be communicated /reported through Team Leader, when TM is not in the premises. Work on another DMG machine in absence of other DMG operator. Proper down code entering on TPM Track OEE system.

What you can be?

• Mechanical diploma having at least 4 - 5 years experience in CNC 5-Axis machine.(DMG machine)
• Knowledge of cast iron, brass & stainless steel material.          
• Knowledge of machining processes such as turning, milling, drilling, machining, taping, and threading.                         Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipper, micrometer, dial bore gauge, inside & outside unimeter, & special dial ring gauges etc.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings & assembly drawings.           
• Ability to understand the functional requirement such as use & position of components in the assembly.
• Good Mental stability, High patience level, Initiative Taking, positive attitude,
