Job title:  Maintenance Engineer

Job function and sub function: Manufacturing Maintenance

Position summary:

PLC programming expert required in Maintenance department at Chakan plant. Hands-on experience of Robot maintenance, PLC and HMI programming and fault finding.

He will be working in three shifts and will be responsible for smooth operation of plant and machineries in 3 shifts

Reports to (role): Maintenance Manager

Team size (Direct and total): NA

Works closely with:  Production and CFT

Location: CA Chakan

Key responsibilities:

• Siemens PLC, HMI programming and diagnostics
• Compile operational records, such repair and maintenance statistics, test results.
• Manage and review performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement
• Find out root cause and implement counter measures.
• Approach to zero breakdown.
• Monitor tool and Spare parts inventories and the condition.
• Maintain 5S & maintenance of shop to ensure adequate working conditions.
• Implement continues improvement projects, energy conservation projects.
• Safety compliance as per Tenneco safety standard guidelines.

Ideal candidate experience:

• 5-7 years’ experience of working with in maintenance department within a manufacturing/industrial environment

Skills and capabilities (leadership and/or functional):

• Hand-on experience of PLC and HMI programming and fault finding
• Hands-on experience of Welding Robot maintenance
• Experience of working with Co2 welding, Spot-welding Robots and SPM’s
• Basic knowledge of Hydraulics and pneumatics maintenance
• Should physically and mentally strong enough to work under pressure.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, dirty conditions by hand
• 6days working pattern with staggered weekly off
