Summary:
In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based software solutions. This includes managing the configuration settings, overseeing system integrations, and coordinating software releases. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards to ensure the solution remains stable, performs efficiently, and aligns with both business requirements and vendor limitations. Collaboration with various stakeholders to drive the evolution of the platform is a key aspect of daily activities, ensuring the solution adapts to changing needs and technological advancements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance platform reliability and scalability.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Databricks.
- Experience with cloud-based data engineering and analytics platforms.
- Strong knowledge of distributed computing and big data processing frameworks.
- Ability to design and optimize data pipelines and workflows within cloud environments.
- Familiarity with platform security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to cloud data solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Databricks.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
