Collect blood samples through venipuncture and capillary puncture from patients of all age groups.
Accurately label, process, and transport specimens according to laboratory protocols.
Verify patient identity and ensure proper test requisition before sample collection.
Maintain proper documentation and records of collected samples.
Follow infection control, safety, and biomedical waste management guidelines.
Monitor and maintain phlebotomy supplies and equipment.
Ensure patient comfort and address concerns during the collection process.
Handle difficult blood draws professionally and safely.
Coordinate with laboratory staff for timely processing of samples.
Perform home sample collection visits when required.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the sample collection area.
Adhere to NABL, ISO, and laboratory quality standards.
