Picker / Packer

As a Warehouse Associate, you will…

• Assist with daily warehouse activities such as receiving, storing, putting away, picking, packing and dispatching goods.
• Prepare goods receipt notes (GRN) of incoming shipments, prepare pick lists, pack shipments, process orders, and hand over shipments to logistics vendors.
• Ensure proper storage / put away of merchandise in designated rack and bin locations, as per prescribed storage SOPs and stacking norms.
• Coordinate with transportation vendors for timely delivery and pickup of warehouse shipments.
• Monitor inventory levels, perform regular stock audits and maintain relevant documentation.
• Ensure that all resources and inventory movement are effectively tracked and maintained to support operational efficiency.
• Inspect incoming return shipments for damage / quality issues, and sort them accordingly for refurbishment.
• Prepare / maintain accurate logs and documentation for all warehouse transactions including inward and outward of all materials.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, best practices and safety protocols in warehouse operations.
• Ensure maintenance of overall warehouse cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move and stack goods safely and efficiently.
• Identify areas for improvement in warehouse processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

What you will need to be successful…

• Utmost importance of accuracy and attention to detail in all work to ensure zero errors in inventory movement, management and operations.
• Good reading and writing skills in English.
• Basic knowledge of supply chain documents such as Purchase Indent (PI), Purchase Order (PO), Sales Order (SO), Gate Pass, Delivery Challan, Sale Invoice, Sale Return, Credit/Debit Note, E-Way Bill, etc.
• Detail-oriented, highly organised through the use of to-do lists and hard-working with a great sense of urgency.
• 12th Pass or Diploma in any field required.
