Picker/Packer Job Description

A Picker/Packer is responsible for selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment in a warehouse or distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:

Pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.

Verify product codes, quantities, and quality before packing.

Pack products securely to prevent damage during transportation.

Label packages correctly and prepare them for dispatch.

Maintain inventory accuracy and report stock discrepancies.

Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

Follow company procedures and safety guidelines.

Assist with receiving, storing, and moving stock when required.

Requirements:

Basic reading and counting skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
