Job Description Summary:

This position is responsible for working on sourcing and procurement requirements. The person would work closely with internal and external stakeholders globally from initial need identification to final goods or service delivery to meet stakeholder needs. It will involve reviewing contracts, mitigate legal and business risks to organization and monitor compliance to established contracts, process and procedures. The role will partner and support Accounts Payable team and strategize each supplier relationship to maximize its full potential. The candidate will be required to work in shifts to support global operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Purchase Order creation

• Ensuring account codes alignment as per guidance issued from accounting and FP&A team

• PR compliance checks and Rocket Purchasing policy enforcement.

• Identify and resolve PR - PO processing issues.

• Work with buyers / client group and suppliers to resolve delivery issues.

• Provide AP team required support in Invoice Processing by performing research and resolving invoice discrepancies.

• Training of Purchasing function activities to the stakeholders as and when required

• Creation and maintenance of catalogs

• Vendor query resolution

• Goods Receipt query resolution - Returns process.

• Vendor Management - periodic evaluation of existing suppliers – risk, compliance, performance

• Work on critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including communication/follow-up with key stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables.

• Work in conjunction with legal & internal teams on contract executions post the sourcing event; Upon completion of the contract, submit necessary paperwork and communicate accordingly with all the parties involved.

Qualifications:

• The desired candidate should have at least 4 -6 years of experience in procurement domain.

(PR - PO Activities, Invoice Processing & Vendor Data Maintenance)

• Proficient in Oracle iProcurement module.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Very strong work ethic and ability to deal with confidential information.

• Ability to identify risks and develop appropriate responses.

• Attention to detail, manage multiple undertakings at the same time and focus on priorities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Advanced knowledge of MS Excel & MS PowerPoint).

• Actively seeking to further knowledge through training and experience.

• Diploma/Certification in Materials Management

• Commerce Graduate or Post-Graduate
