Production Manager

Core Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Scheduling (PPC): Creating machine-wise loading plans, defining daily shift workflows, and adjusting schedules to meet customer delivery timelines without resource idle time.
• Quality Assurance Management: Ensuring products comply with global standards (like ISO benchmarks). This involves handling regular calibrations, monitoring Critical to Quality (CTQ) specifications, and resolving customer complaints.
• Shop Floor Supervision: Managing operators, machinists (Cylinder Grinding, Surface Grinding,Drilling Machine,Tempering Machine), and technicians. They oversee optimal resource usage across men, machines, and raw materials.
• Inventory Control & Work in Progress (WIP): Tracking and controlling shop floor stocks to reduce wastage, managing raw supplies, and stocking critical machine spare tools
• Machine Maintenance Coordination: Planning preventive maintenance schedules to eliminate unexpected machine breakdowns and maintain device reliability

Key Skills Required

Strong command of mechanical measurement systems, drawing prints, and calibration processes.

Hands-on knowledge of tools like Vernier calipers, micrometers, and Master/Thread gauges.

Leadership, workflow tracking, and budget allocation capability.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Using data analytics to analyze performance metrics and improve workflows.

Budget Management: Forecasting costs, controlling expenses, and maximizing profitability without compromising quality.

Problem-Solving: The ability to make quick, effective decisions when faced with machinery breakdowns or supply chain disruptions.
