Purchase Executive

A Purchase Executive manages the end-to-end procurement process for an organization. They are responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating supplier contracts, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries while optimizing costs and maintaining quality standards

Core Responsibilities

Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify reliable suppliers, evaluate vendor capabilities, and negotiate favourable pricing, lead times, and payment terms.

Purchase Execution: Process purchase requisitions, prepare Purchase Orders (POs), and ensure goods meet the required quality specifications.

Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory, and conduct regular stock reconciliations.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with the production , or project teams to understand their material needs.

Invoice & Payment Processing: Coordinate with the accounts department to verify vendor bills and ensure timely payments.

Documentation & MIS: Maintain accurate procurement records and generate monthly performance or rejection reports.
