Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: S. No. 81/5, NDA Rd, Shivane, Pune, Maharashtra 411023 (with potential work across other plant sites as needed)

Job Description:

The Quality Engineer will be pivotal in maintaining and improving quality management processes, ensuring adherence to ISO standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to quality assurance, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding Bhor Engineering’s standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ISO Process Implementation and Compliance:

- Develop, implement, and maintain ISO processes (ISO 9001 or relevant standards).

- Conduct comprehensive audits and initiate process improvements.

- Provide ongoing training and support to teams on quality management principles.

2. Incoming Material Inspection:

- Perform rigorous quality checks on raw materials.

- Document, report, and resolve issues related to non-conforming materials.

3. Documentation and Certification:

- Prepare, update, and manage test certificates, TDS, and MSDS.

- Ensure the accuracy and regulatory compliance of all documentation.

4. Product Testing and Reliability Checks:

- Lead product testing and lab procedures, ensuring alignment with industry standards.

- Implement new testing methodologies to enhance product reliability.

5. Customer Complaint Handling:

- Proactively investigate and resolve product-related customer complaints.

- Develop and enforce CAPA plans to prevent the recurrence of quality issues.

- Collaborate with customer service and internal teams to ensure prompt resolutions.

6. Compliance and Reporting:

- Monitor adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

- Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities and present key quality metrics to senior management.

7. Hands-on Inspections:

- Utilize precision tools for detailed inspections and ensure thorough documentation.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.

- Minimum of 1 years experience in quality management within the manufacturing industry.

- Expertise in ISO 9001 standards and quality control processes.

- Expertise in 7 QC Tools, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), 8D Problem Solving

Methodology, and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

- Familiarity with modern quality management tools and technologies.
