React & .NET Developer | Capital Markets, Real-Time Trading Platforms & UI/UX Leadership

Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced React Developer with strong .NET and WPF expertise to lead the development of a SWAP Positions platform within our capital markets domain. The role involves delivering real-time trading screens, exposure management, and risk analytics, while providing technical leadership, mentorship, and delivery ownership. This position contributes significantly to business objectives by ensuring robust, scalable, and efficient trading solutions aligned with organizational goals and industry standards.

Software Requirements

Required Software Proficiency:

• React.js (latest stable version) — extensive hands-on experience in building responsive, high-performance user interfaces

• .NET / .NET Core (latest versions) — strong technical experience in developing enterprise-grade backend services and APIs

• WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) — deep understanding of desktop UI development and real-time data visualization

• Bitbucket — proficient in version control, pull requests, code reviews, and branching strategies

• Capital Markets / Trading Systems knowledge — familiarity with trading workflows, exposure, risk management, and PnL metrics

Preferred Software Skills:

• Cloud integration (Azure, AWS, GCP) — experience with deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments

• Other development tools: Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code — for application development and debugging

• Automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines — for streamlined deployment and quality assurance

Overall Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and development of SWAP Positions management screens, exposure dashboards, and risk analytics using React.js and .NET/WPF

• Provide technical ownership and guidance for the development team, ensuring high standards of code quality, responsiveness, and performance

• Collaborate with product management, quants, and trading teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions

• Review code, enforce best coding practices, and mentor junior developers or team members within the POD

• Manage source control activities, including pull requests, branching, and version management via Bitbucket

• Conduct regular system performance reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize applications for latency and stability

• Lead integration efforts, ensuring seamless data flow between front-end, back-end, and external market data feeds

• Document architecture, design decisions, and operational procedures, supporting ongoing enhancements and compliance

Technical Skills (By Category)

• Programming Languages:

  • Essential: React.js, .NET/.NET Core, WPF — deep expertise in both front-end and backend development

  • Preferred: JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend enhancements

• Databases/Data Management:

  • Experience with database queries, stored procedures, and data modeling in SQL Server, Oracle, or similar

• Cloud Technologies:

• Proven track record in delivering high-performance trading systems, risk management platforms, or capital markets applications

• Demonstrable leadership in managing development teams or PODs, with experience guiding architectural decisions

• Exposure to real-time data visualization, trading workflows, and delta-neutral hedging solutions is preferred

• Experience working in fast-paced, high-availability environments with strict compliance standards

Day-to-Day Activities

• Lead the development, testing, and deployment of real-time trading screens and risk modules using React.js and WPF

• Collaborate with product teams, quants, and traders to gather requirements and ensure technical feasibility

• Enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members for best practices

• Optimize application responsiveness, data refresh rates, and system stability for high-frequency trading scenarios

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve performance bottlenecks or bugs in the application stack

• Coordinate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support deployments and environment health

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and technical demonstrations to ensure project alignment

• Continuously evaluate new technologies and implement improvements to enhance platform capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 10+ years in software development, with a focus on React.js and .NET/WPF-based systems in capital markets or trading environments

• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., React, .NET) are advantageous

• Strong understanding of trading workflows, exposure, and risk management metrics
