Role Objective
To generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach, identify qualified leads via cold calling, and contribute to client acquisition and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Make high-volume cold calls daily to targeted prospects and introduce IT products/services.
- Generate qualified leads and schedule appointments/demos for senior sales representatives.
- Understand customer requirements and position solutions aligned with their business goals.
- Maintain and update CRM tools with lead data, activities, and follow-ups.
- Research and identify potential markets, industries, and clients using LinkedIn, databases, and other platforms.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and increase conversion rates.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs (calls, leads, opportunities, revenue pipeline).
- Prepare and share reports on outreach activities, performance metrics, and insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in Business Development, Cold Calling, Inside Sales, or Telemarketing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills—clear, confident, and persuasive.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and negotiation skills with the ability to handle objections.
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a target-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Willingness to travel for field visits and meet clients as required.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in EdTech, SaaS, IT Services, or Consulting sectors.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or lead generation platforms.
- Exposure to B2B or B2C sales models (B2B preferred).
- Ability to simplify and communicate technical product/service offerings effectively.
