Job Description
- 1. Accounting & Financial ReportingMaintain accurate books of accounts and general ledger
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities
- 2. Costing & Inventory ManagementMonitor product costing (RM, WIP, FG)
- Track inventory valuation and reconcile stock records
- Analyze cost variances and recommend improvements
- 3. Payables & ReceivablesManage vendor payments and customer collections
- Ensure timely invoicing and payment follow-ups
- Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements
- 4. Compliance & TaxationHandle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
- Prepare and file returns within deadlines
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
- 5. MIS & BudgetingPrepare MIS reports for management review
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting
- Provide financial insights for decision-making
- 6. Coordination & Team SupportLiaise with production, purchase, and sales teams
- Supervise junior accounting staff
- Ensure smooth financial operations across departments
- Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, and compliance
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Tally, SAP, or similar)
- Good understanding of manufacturing costing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- QualificationsB.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance)
- Relevant experience in manufacturing industry preferre
