Job Description: Accountant (Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant with hands-on experience in Tally ERP 9 and/or Tally Prime to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, and ensure accurate bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accounts payable and receivable.

Handle daily accounting entries in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime.

Prepare vouchers, invoices, purchase orders, and payment records.

Perform bank reconciliation and cash management.

Maintain GST records and assist in GST filing.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Manage ledger accounts and inventory records.

Assist in payroll processing and statutory compliance.

Coordinate with auditors and support audit activities.

Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial data.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com preferred).

Good knowledge of Tally ERP 9 and/or Tally Prime.

Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting principles.

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Good communication and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in inventory management and billing.

Knowledge of banking transactions and compliance procedures.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Salary

₹[Salary Range] per month (Based on experience and skills) 15K-25K
