Advisory Software Engineer – Security Compliance

The Advisory Software Engineer – Security Compliance plays a key role in maintaining and demonstrating the organization’s compliance with key security frameworks and customer requirements. This position supports internal and external audits, reviews customers RFPs and security questionnaires, and assists with contract reviews.

Security & Compliance Analyst includes the following activities:

• Support global Pitney Bowes sales and service teams with the request for proposals (RFPs) process.

• Work with cross-functional teams to complete customer security questionnaires and inquiries about the compliance of our products with industry standards.

• Complete product security review of client contracts.

• Support certification and accreditation programs (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP) by preparing documentation, gathering evidence and coordinating with assessors.

• Assist in maintaining policies, procedures and product security program documentation.

• Maintain product Information System Contingency Plan (ISCP) and coordinate annual disaster recovery test.

• Track and update risk registers, vendor documentation and compliance dashboards.

• Research regulatory updates and summarize impacts for leadership. 

• Provide logistical and administrative support during audits, assessments and internal reviews.

• This position will work closely with Procurement, Business Owners, Product Owners and external third-party contacts.

Your background:

• 6+ years’ experience in compliance, information security, IT risk or related discipline.

• Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP through coursework, exposure or hands on support.

• Strong skills in documentation, organization and attention to detail.

• Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.
