Job Description
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Create innovative cocktail and mocktail recipes, while periodically introducing seasonal and signature beverages.
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all drinks served.
- Maintain and update recipe specifications, costing, and standard operating procedures for beverages.
- Manage bar inventory, including daily stock checks, ordering, receiving, and proper storage of all bar supplies.
- Maintain accurate stock books and inventory records, ensuring all issues, receipts, and consumption are recorded correctly.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, overstocking, and wastage.
- Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile variances.
- Ensure proper rotation of stock (FIFO) and monitor expiry dates of all products.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Ensure all bar equipment is cleaned, maintained, and functioning properly.
- Minimize beverage wastage and control pour costs through proper portioning and stock management.
- Train junior bartenders and bar staff on beverage preparation, recipes, and service standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and making beverage recommendations.
- Comply with all company policies, safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
